I'm going it alone this year.My other guys have learned all they wanted ,now they are out with other guys.boo-hoo
I have a spot that produces mallards& woodies& teal. The geese come through often as well.I'll put out 2 dozen mallard decoys& a dozen goose decoys. The lake is little & full of rice.Floating bog surronds it so anyplace is a good place to set up depending on the wind direction.
I have 2 open seats if there are any takers. I have everything,so alls you need is your stamps and the small game liscense HIP certified.
Give me a shout ,there are beds for 2 guys as well.

I'd never give it a second thought with you or Aaron for that matter. I never saw a gun in my face & the unloading was done the way I like to see it.
I'm primed for some hot wing shooting, not to mention openers get alot of guys out & moving the birds. The geese love this pocket too.A grouse hunt ,popping in and out of a few spots could be productive.
I had to walk you guys some,I hope your neck is better.
Did you go to a chiro?

ck,
I went to the chiro yesterday after work and he said I had a rib pulled out. Just as I suspected, he said he put it back, and I needed to use heat on it and then give it 30 minutes and then ice it. it felt a lot better yesterday morning even before I saw him, but I thought he better snap me back straight so I don't agrivate it again. It feels much better today and he wants to see me again on Monday, we'll see about that. $45.00 a visit is not cheap and it's out of my pocket! I do feel better, thanks for asking smile smiley

Well come on down, you are the new contestant on the outdoor adventure BD.
I checked & 9A.M is the opener time.We can be there 1 hour prior to secure our spot not that there will be anybody there.Maybe 1 boat which is good ,but I'd like to pick the best spot.It takes 20 minutes to get there,so I'd like to see you at my place by 7A.M. that way we can have a minute or 2 to load everything.I'll have most everything put together already so we would have 30 minutes to bullshit & get anther cup of coffee down.Stop by the store for bevies & down the grade we'll go. We will double up on the bike, everything else except guns go in the trailer.
I saw ducks pile in there last night around dusk & 20 geese dropped in.
It could hold a few hundred as in years past.I count on the other hunters to push birds off of the big water,so we could see several even though prime time is 7.The geese come through all day so I always get up for the Sunday hunt .Last year I bagged 4 ducks(woodies & mallards) plus 1 goose on openers. The rice is thick so there is alot of food.

Sure you will, and we can hit some grouse off of the trails on the way back.I'll keep the walking down to a minimum.
I was wondering how this year was going to play out. It's looking like I got a new lil buddy as the skipper would say only I look more like Gilligan than BD & he looks more like the skipper. I'll have to watch out for the hat slap. laugh smiley laugh smiley

ck,
You got that right! Except with this back we don't have to sleep on hammocks do we? Two more days of work and then back up to the north woods!
