We climbed ,dug holes, had a blast.
The leaves are turning into some great color combos.
I saw a 7 pointer dispatched by a bow gasing up in town on the return.
It's time for grouse as I saw several.

I'm not seeing to many helmets on any of the riders.

dangit.. as I was looking at those pictures I was thinking the same thing.. smile smiley i think I see 4 helmets total. While I've never been on a 4-wheeler... I dont' think I'd have the 'grapefruits' to get on without a helmet myself.

Even a BAD day of fishing is better than a good day of work; paydays excluded!

This is funny to me. Every one that rides a snowmobile wears a helmet, 95% of people I see on 4-wheelers do not wear a helmet. Here's the funny part, the same people that own those wheelers also own sleds, and wouldn't even think of riding that sled with out one.

I just looked and there is no law for persons over 18 to wear a helmet on a sled.

Oh yeah and those people that don't wear them on the wheelers. Are the same ones that will argue with you about there being a helmet law for sleds in Minnesota. (they need to take the safety class.)

I wear a helmet on most days.Full facer, keeps the dust out .my eye do not water all day& then get dried out.It is warmer too & keeps the bugs out.I know saftey is key but we are not doing 100mph either.

And you do 100 mph on a sled? you know there is also a speed limit on the trails AND THE LAKES for sleds.

no flag ,no foul.
When was the last time you pissed out of a boat or peeed on the ice fishing.Breakin the law!!
I do not go 50 mph on a sled.Heck I can't drive 55.
2weeks ago I went to Indy, once we got out of Mn.most folks drove15-25 mph over the limit.
Sure a guy can get tagged, but concider when & where you take your chances.
On a thin windy narrow trail or a river that is 50 yards wide & you can see a 1/2 mile in front of you in the daylight.

I make a few posts & all anyone is saying is no helmets ,too fast. tongue smiley tongue smiley tongue smiley tongue smiley
Laws are laws,so which ones do you CHOOSE to follow.
If you say everyone ,your fibbing!

I should add that I' have not been on a sled for 7 years & doubt I'll get one, maybe.
When on trails I'll go the posted.BSL ,I go the posted as the cops watch it.
Get me on a few back country lakes & it's a little different or on the river.
Everyone that skips water is speeding. No way can you go over water & stay above it under 50.
