Fish seem to be hanging around the reefs, under a bobber with a minnow in any depth from 9 fow to 2 fow. a lot of nice limits (8) per team per day) of fish for the myr mar classic brought in, most of these were off the reefs. (lakeside) I can say it was a bit breezy out there with some nice rollers to. the evening Crank bite is starting to heat up however not a lot of big ones yet some nice slotters as well as eaters. Good Luck and be careful out there in the evenings as there has been a lot of traffic yet.
yepper, with the cold temps the water has cooled.Like I said before the hatches of bugs are done so the eyes are targeting the minnows. Now until freeze up will be some of the best fishing.Even the 1st month after freeze up the eyes are busy feeding, then oxygen will get low & they slow down until the bite is almost non-exsistant. The big dilemma for me is to shoot flying liver or snag eyes?? Choices, choices hmmmmmmmm

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
