I use Berkley Realistix kicker frogs all the time.. never used LIVE frogs though, I'd rather not go chasing them to catch em. If "Scumfrog" ever comes around here again you can get lots of good information on rubber frogs from him.. especially the 'Scumfrog' that he likes best.

I caught my largest smallmouth this year on the realistix. Only problem is they come 3 to a package and more damage to them occurs than you can fix with superglue. The main advantage is they use a normal 4/0 hookso you don't have to have any special equipment to rig up with if you happen to break your line and lose the 1 hook they provide.

Frogs in my opinion are the best live bait you can use in the fall.

I think Webdude suggested it in another thread.. but Ryan.. when you create a thread.. why not make the title of the read coherent to what you're talking about?

For this thread.. call it something like 'Frogs for bait?' or 'Does anyone use frogs for bait' as your thread title instead of just 'bait.' Also since you're talking about rubber frogs, how about mentioning that in the first post of the thread.

I don't want to sound like I'm yelling at ya or bossing ya around, but it helps the site out when people look for topics. When people google for subjects, maybe your thread about frogs will be easily found by someone doing a search.

Off Topic, how old are ya anyway? I'm just wondering since I couldn't find that out.
