When I go walleye fishing in the area, I usually go to Waconia. It is about 30 - 40 miles west of the city. Just get on 394 west and keep going. I have had some luck out there. Not sure about anything in the Forest Lake area. I know Bi Marine has had pretty good luck on bass. Minnetonka too.

Anyone else???

Hey rstresna! Always glad to have a newcomer on-board.

You might want to try Crooked Lake in Anoka County. Some crappies, walleyes and of course a lot of snakes. Walleyes aren't the best in the metro lakes.
