Believe it or not, I used to do lots of bass fishing. In fact, there was a time when that was all I fished for. I gave up bassin' as my primary fish when I had to wait an hour to get a boat on Minnetonka. Minnetonka was considered one of the best bass lakes in America and a lot of pros would come up here and fish it. Unfortunately, you can now walk across that lake and never touch the water there are so many boats. It kind of put a damper on my fishing there.

The lakes in great shape, does anybody know when the night ban goes off and does the slot change to anything under 22" at the same time.

Thanks Pier.

I thought I saw something saying the night ban is off now. Don't quote me on that though.

I spoke to the Aitkin area fisheries mgr.of the dnr & he said that as of now the limit is 4 with the slot being 20"-28" with 1 of them over 28".The state slot does not apply here of only 1 over 20".
Due to harvest levels dropping they will change the slot on July 15th which then says 4 eyes & a slot of 22"-28" with 1 of the 4 over 28".
If the harvest level stays high then they will not change it.It will be in the news he said.
