The Mayflies in the area are out in full force. In fact, thay are getting rather annoying. A lot cooler temps up here then in the cities. Typically in the mid 70s. Weed edges seem to be working. Deep drops too. Been finding fish fairly deep. 20 to 40 feet. Using leeches and crawlers on plain hook. Switching to Jigheads when things get slow. I've been fishing around Martin Islands. Heard tell of some Pike being caught and smallies, but I am not really targeting those. You might want to try Tom Cod Bay, Mud Bay, Daily Bay, and Long Slough.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
