Been doing leeches and crawlers in crawler harnesses and lindys with a bit of success up here. Can get a bit windy, but if you can weather the waves, the fishing can be pretty good. Most of the fish I have been catching have been in the early to mid morning. Been trying all sorts of depths from 10 to 30 feet. I heard that the smallies have been good, though I usually don't fish them. That's about it for the lake. A pretty typical summer so far.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
