With a free weekend out if you took a kid fishing,I was wondering if anyone took a kid fishing?
They are our future & we need them to carry the tradition and the sport into the next generation of sportsmen & women.
I have to say it gets taxing ,but to hear their stories makes it all worth it.
So did anyone get a kid out fishing?
Did you even try?
Will you try yet this year?

you don't want a turtle, they can make you sick. Thats atleast what the people at the pet store told me when i went to buy one with my mom when I was younger. They carry bacteria on their shell that can basically give you a food poisoning like sickness.

I didn't get one after mom found out about that.

you had to be there to understand wanting the turtle.I took SB & his 2 boys fishing early after ice was out. It was very slow ,but there were a ton of turtles. Well after awhile Q kept asking for a turtle, and after many no's Q asks again & SB says sure you can have one,but you are going to have to ask your wife 1st.It was too funny then Q wins a shotgun from a banquet & SB asks Q if he wanted to trade the gun for the turtle. The funny part was he stopped to consider the trade.

He is going to be a interesting kid! Last night he didn't think it was fair to the ant that mom squished on the kitchen floor. "What did that ant really ever do to you mom?" "How much food could on little and really eat?" "Your just mean!" and he just stommped walked away to go watch a violent cartoon on TV!

well like you said,he may turn out to be a tree hugger. Where is he getting this idea of nonlethal actions.
I hope peta is not in his school.

I watched him rip a loose tooth out last night just to see the tooth fairy so there's still a chance!
