Hey guys,
Just dropped in to say hello. The forum looks pretty quiet. One can only hope that everybody is taking advantage of the weather and went fishing. I can't wait to here the fishin' stories.

Had a chance to get out last night and we picked up a few crappies. Not many but they all were in the 13" to 13 1/2" class.

Minnows were being ignored but we had fish on the Vexilar the whole time. Got creative and tried wax worms with a red glow jig. That was the ticket!

WebDude,
Your Ok. blush smiley)

Actually, it was a small lake in the St. Cloud area. Many lakes have their known honey holes that attract many anglers year after year.

The fish have seen many presentations and have been on the wrong end of a hook before. By working the outside parameter of these locations and mixing up your presentation (a slight twist of the line between thumb and forefinger did the trick in this instance), you have increased your odds of enticing those hard to catch bait sniffers to bite.

My fishin' bud, RandMan, just wrote an article on the subject. click here to read the article.

Thanks for the article. A good read and I appreciate it. You think he would like some of his articles here? I am trying to get some to post articles here but have not been very successful. I could use more then just the 1 I got. I have a couple of guides that promised more, but have yet to see them.

Nice article! Thanks for sharing!

Web Dude I have a couple in the bass section of catch-n.com. You are more than welcome to copy them over here if they are things that you are interested in. I will also have a few more go up in the next few weeks.
