I know you had a better time than I. I got stood up,tied 60 jigs instead while venting! I had a close encounter with the 3rd kind(jet skiier). If my dad was not with I'd have had a word with their parents. I mean the only boat on the lake & to get within 100 ,come on. To top it off he does a donut right behind me. If I dod not know better I'd think he did it on purpose to scare the eyes off of the break I was working.

Everything went good! We arrived home earlier than expected yesterday so I came into work and saved a day of vacation for a friday sometime. I will post pics and a report when my energy level comes back up! Sucking wind today!

Bear hunters who were unsuccessful in this year's lottery may purchase a surplus bear license starting at noon on Monday, Aug. 7. Surplus licenses are available in the following six permit areas (# of surplus permits available):

A map showing the location of these bear permit areas can be found on the DNR Web site at www.dnr.state.mn.us. Bear licenses cost $39 for residents and $196 for nonresidents.
