Hey guy's it's me CK,not to confuse ,but up here my buds call me Sony.
Short for Nelson.

We have had alot of warm rain so the lakes should be getting to a good temp. for excellent walleye action. I have been doing well on the river. She was getting to low ,but the rains will help bring the level up and with the rain comes the bugs that bring the minnows that bring the walleyes.
At Libby dam guys are getting eyes too.

The crappies are in full swing on most all lakes. I saw many last night over 12". It poured rain and when it stopped we beat those females around pretty good. I released at least 30 and culled my 10 eaters. So did Rian,as it turned out to be a slug fest.

It looks like a wet weekend is in store for you bravehearts that will come up to endure for state opener.
As long as the winds stay mild you should be able to enjoy yourself.

Heres wishing you & yours a productive weekend.

You got that one right on the money, last night not a soul was there in Whisp. We had it all to ourselves. You should have been there to see the mules comming not to mention 5 bass.
Both sides of the bridge were boiling with fish. There were hundreds of crapps in there.I could see them running all over.It was like we were herding them trying to get thru to get out of our way.It was total mayhem! I saw this last year right at dusk.

The Prairie ought to be ready by now,but with the traffic it would be tough not spooking them.

The walleyes are in full swing. The weather has been cooler the last few days ,but the warmer rains counter the effect I think.
We have been tossing several eyes back.

Well the openers came & went with cold & rain.
The cold moved everything to deeper water, but with the sun out for this week the action will pick up.

The crappies still have their spawn as the water has not hit the magic number yet. The males are half black so the spawn is close.
The bigger lakes may be 2 weeks back, but the little back lakes are prime now.
I'd advise to get your limit of walleyes, then grab that ultrlight rig & have a hoot in the pannies. The gills are moving in good too & we are seeing several bass.

I noticed when putting in yesterday that there were several new little minnows up tight to the shore so that should draw in the hoards
for their feed.
With the lillies breaking the surface ,the crappies have their hideout to hide in wait for their dinner.

The bugs are hatching too ,so get out there & enjoy the action. From now until the 1st couple of hot weeks in the end/of June or the begging of July will be prime time for the Walleyes.
