I hit the River/Creek again tonight I was hoping to target my favorite spots with my waders but the River and Creek have come up another 2 feet so I didn't get to the areas I had hoped.
I tried Plastics first with no luck and then switched over to cranks and that produced both my fish.
I really like the rainy weather when I fish down there it tends to clear everyone out which gives me a bunch of options, but when I see lighting I'm gone so it was a short but fun trip.
I ended up getting a 18" Walleye on #11 Silver Shad Rapala and the one in the picture is 17" Eye caught on a #9 Gold and Black Original Floater, with all the snags and Rapalas costing $6 I use floaters mainly at the River....

Nice to see somebody else putting the hurt to the eyes. You are so right about a little rain clearing out the others. When you are avid about being the sportsman a little rain is what the doctor ordered.

I have had my best fishing on those days ,and part of I think is that like you said, you have more spots to try that have been untouched for the day.
Keep it up PierBridge
be seeing ya soon,

I've eaten just about every fresh water fish there is and cold water crappies and walleyes are the best there is.
I can understand if you can't find one. Some guy's just do not get how to do it.
Don't feel bad that you might be a little slow on the procedure.Maybe you just need some luck!!
I can see going after bass and pike. They are aggressive and easy to catch.
Maybe being a producer just isn't in your bag, that's ok this industry still wants your money.
Anyone who is avid like PB knows that not all guy's can do what we do .
slam/slam/slam your turn!

Just remember we are all pullin your leg& if you can't be handsome ,hide.

Fishing for walleye is no fun. They don't even fight they just get all stiff like they're dead. It's like reeling up a rock. I want a fish that fights for it's life when I set hook, not a pansy fish that gives up right away.

Oh S.F.ye of little faith,
I know what you mean ,but do you.
Ask yourself ,is it the battle your after or the meal.
Fish the size fish with the right rod and every fish can be a battle.

I don't eat fish. I do it for the sport of it.

Yup,some days it is all catch & release and other days I eat.
If bass was what I was getting it would be for sport too!
I want to add as an edit that I am not belittleing you.Just polite banter.
