Congradulaions on the new job, hopefully it's everything you're looking for. And NO weekends, it doesn't get any better than that!
Congrats

A new job would be nice, but dang, the jobs that ARE out there, with gas prices, don't pay enough to GET to them around here. I like Duluth and wouldn't even mind living there, but the 20 minute drive back and forth from Cloquet costs too much now.

Anyone making a smaller opening weekend trip then they normally would because of the almost $3.00/gallon gas?

I do about 80% of my fishing right on the St. Louis River between Cloquet and Duluth.. up and down all the shore fishing areas. I wouldn't even think about riding a bike to go fishing, but I'm 31 now and only ride a bike for exercise rather than to GET places. There's so many different fishing areas now on the river that you can't really get bored all season, though I do have my favorite lakes for Bass around here also.

This year, the boat's probably going to stay in the garage most of the season. Have to work on getting $$ as often as I can, though I'll still get out 4 or 5 days a week to fish for a few hours smile smiley

By the way, what are you doin for Arrowhead? Driving one of their transit busses? Working in their office? Repairing the busses? I know one driver in the Duluth area for them who used to drive for SpeeDee Delivery.
