I think your members would be interested in this educational school put on by Bill Diedrich and Bruce "Doc" Samson...
Lowrance Instructional School

An in-depth class in the operation and use of Lowrance and Eagle Sonar, GPS, their menus and settings, MapCreate 6, Lowrance Emulator and Sonar Viewer. In addition to the coverage of Sonar and GPS, the school will cover waypoint management, map building, and the integration of mapping programs such as LakeMaster and Fugawi. Learn how to become a better fisherman by using and analyzing log chart data with the help of the Lowrance Sonar Viewer. The school will focus on the recent (last three years) LMS series and LCX series sonar along with the GlobalMap GPS products

Hey Doc Samson! Welcome to My Fishing Pals! Glad to have you on board. Yes, I think a lot of members here might be interested in this. I own a Lowrance myself and could always use a couple of pointers.

I made your email "hot" so they can email you from the forum here. I hope you don't mind. Is there a fee for going to the class? Do you have an address? Website?

Thanks,

WebDude

Sorry I didn't answer the post. Thanks for being nice. I just sent an email with the notice and I just found this forum today. The School is 9-4, $99, and covers basic to advanced. I keep an updated schedule on www.hightechfishing.com and the registration form. The next School will be at LakeVille Gander Mountain Feb 26. Bill Diedrich and I have done 3 so far. The response has been good. Some of the School is too advanced for a few and some is too basic for a few. You will understand sonar and what it displays better, understand the buttons and menus, learn how to log charts and play them in the SonarViewer, transfer waypoints to your computer, create depth contour maps, and too much too describe as this is getting long and sounds like a sales pitch. I will check back to answer questions. Doc Samson

I forgot to list my website www.hightechfishing.com. My email is on the site. I sent the first email to an address I found searching for fishing clubs. Are most of the members from Minnesota?

Welcome back Doc Samson! Yes, almost all of us are from Minnesota. That is what this site is all about. But that doesn't mean you can't post info if you want to. I made your link clickable so folks can find you easier. Hope that helps and don't be a stranger!!!
