Dude had to work late.No Whisp now what to do. Hmmmm, Little Red is just up the soo grade,I'll go there. Rian & I had better than 100 crappies and gills. They have not even started really.I know this cause most of them were out in the middle sunning themselves. All we caught were the males.I do not think it will take too long for them to come on. the best part is no one fishes it ,except a few locals from town. I am almost always the only boat in there. It has 1 house on it and they are weekenders. Beside the crappie I have gotten gills almost 12" in diameter. You can thumb their mouth when you pick them up.Total mayhem when they hit. Wow that is a monster gill!!

Scholars have long known that fishing eventually turns men into philosophers. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to buy decent tackle on a philosopher's salary. ~ Patrick F. McManus
