It was a cold one last night ,Eh?Well would you know there was not a boat in Whispering after work. The wind was blowing so we dressed up.I mean bibs ,head gators, the works. The wind is from the north so we went over past the beaver lodge under cover from the wind. I told Rick that it would be nice to stay warm here if the fish were there. Same spot SandBurr and the boys fished. Well they were there and I mean the bigger ones. Not the faubetts, but the mules. We hit maybe 50 crapps,30 gills and 3 bass with the largest being 4 lbs. Rick had one hell of a fight going. The males are getting black so the water is warming some, but the cold front will hold them in limbo which gives us more time to rip lips. I'm already seeing fish that have been caught before ,so they are getting more aggressive. I'll be going back again tonight just to keep them company until you guys get up here. The fever has set in deeply now so do not delay in your own endeavors towards culling a delicious meal as I have enjoyed or expierencing the rush of back to back pole bending action. If you are striking out, maybe a trip up north to get dialed in is what the doctor ordered for you. Give me a shout, there is always room for more. Fish On Crappie Keith
