How many of you guys got burnt this weekend? I did a nice job of it.OUCH!! Well there are 3 more belivers in the JIG. I think Fred went for a minnow once all day,but when he saw what the jig was doing why go to the minnow. After his first 50 craps he said I'm out of minnows jokingly. This is the same guy that drove up last winter thinking a swedish pimple(forage minnow) with a minnow head was going to kill the slabs on BSL (Bill Horn Bay) .Well after Steve ,Aaron and myself picking off our 30 Fred and his friend had none.He witnessed first hand the beating I took for years before trying the jig. Yesterday he was apart of the onslaught that took place in Whispering. Bobber Down was the other fellow that saw 1st hand how well it does. BD will admit if there is a fish there it will catch it. Doesn't matter the species either.I want to thank all of you guys for spending your time with me fishing over the weekend.I had a blast teaching you the tricks of working the finese set up.I hope we can do it again and I look forward to taking anyone else that wants to give her a try. 3 more weekends and it's all but over for the panfish in my book anyway. The walleyes will come next,so here's to a great fishing season to all. CrappieKeith

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
