We had 5 men have to cancel their reservations for the spring turkey hunt days of May 5,6, and 7. The area is in mid southern Missouri about 90 minutes north of Branson, Missouri. The hunting area is on a newly obtained 4000 plus acre property that is absolutely LOADED with big toms.

There is a special cut rate price and deal availability due to the short notice. There is 1 fully guided hunt available for $500.00 for the 3 day season and 4 semi guided hunts avialable for $400.00 per person on the same dates. This includes guide (if guided), food, and lodging in the farmhouse on the property. Turkey tags are $140.00. This means you have an excellent chance to score a giant tom for $640.00 guided or $540.00 semi guided. A susbstantial savings because of the late cancelation.

In case of early tag fill there is excellent fishing only minutes away at Stockton lake, morell mushrooms are in season and huntable, Bass Pro Shop is an hour south in Springfield, skeet shooting, and area attractions abound.

If interested let me know asap as these spots will be snatched up quickly at this price. If interested just post here with your name, email,or phone and I will be checking in several times the next few days to see. We are running over 75% success for over 10 years now. Almost everyone who did not get a turkey simply let turkeys walk waiting for a bigger one!

****WEBDUDE**** if this is an inappropriate place to share this--or if you feel it is inappropriate for this site altogether then feel free to relocate it or delete it. I guide for the property and I know what a great chance it is. I have appreciated all my interaction with the forum users here and wanted to throw out the chance to come if some folks could make it. We have a 3 week season here with straight over the counter tags---NO LOTTERY OR DRAWING--we are over run with excellent turkey populations.

Webdude,
Fishing for toms...hmm, well I guess in a manner of speaking. Sort of like going deer hunting and saying I am fishing with, or for, a bucktail! : )

Turkey hunts are a lot like deer. Anytime you get to go out,you should. We have turkeys just planted in our area to see if they can survive. Most are so I wonder how long it will take till the DNR says we can hunt them?
