I got a chance to see some of his work when we took Quinn & Cody fishing last week.I'll be having him build me one for panfish.I'm done with cheap gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His thread work is very nice and he put's feathers inlaid on the blank.Wow, I've never seen anything like it.His wood handles are almost to pretty to handle.Let's get together on this Shannon.
Thanks,
Crappie Keith

Sandburr,
how much do you charge for your rods?? I'm sure different sizes and weights do have different costs. My parents have a cabin on BSL, and I would love to see your work and possibly put in an order. Do you make all types; Ice fishing, pan fishing and musky fishing. You know what i mean, do they come in all sizes? Let me know, I'm very interested.
Thanks for the tip CK,

He makes any kind they make a rod blank for. My crappie rod is about$100,but keep in mind there isn't any junky materials used. His time is worth something too as he is an artist/craftsman.So I think that is very reasonable for a rod that could last you a lifetime. I'll burn up 20$ rods every year.

I have also seen the rods he builds. They are very nice and wouldn't mind having one for bass fishing.

Sand Burr,

If you have any pictures of you work, I would gladly post them here. Minnesota artisans is something, especially if it has to do with fishing, I would definitely push.
