A lot of nice Walleye caught, a lot of Walleye released. Another fun summer meeting and fishing with wonderful people. Sad to say another great summer has come then gone for me. This will be my last report for the summer as Sharon and I will be heading south for some more fishing. Watch for Donavon's winter reports from the Big Fish supper club. He will be on Winnie every day and will have all the latest updates.
Friday's catch was something, Crappie, Large Mouth Bass, Perch, Northern and Walleye. Best action came from shore line in 8' of water north of Stony point on the 3rd river side. Between Ravens point and Mallard point by the sand shore line in 8' of water. Northland tackle's glow/watermelon 1/8oz fire-ball tipped with a fathead minnow was the best bait. Word got to me that CutFoot is still a hot area of the lake. The gap and points are the best spots to catch Walleye.
A thank you for all that have read my reports and got some good out of them.

And who is this Donavon guy. I am not sure. If you can get him to post some reports here, that would be great. If not, then that's okay too :-)

Anyway, have a Merry Christmas and keep posting, Doesn't matter to me!

Hey captron,

You better post some reports here on your outstate fishing or I am gonna have to go up to Winnie next year and constantly fish 10 feet from your boat. Don't think I won't. Everywhere you go, I'll be there, fishing right next to you. You'll be able to spit in my boat I'll be so close.

By the way, did I tell you I have a diesel 500 horse from one of the old ore carriers off of Superior. Loud as hell. You can't even hear yourself think when that thing is running. That and the diesel fuel it leaks along with the 5 foot prop make for a great fishing boat. Of course I had to add a bit of floatation so the thing wouldn't sink. It's about 28 feet right now, but only goes about 12 feet into the water. Pretty good I think. I only had to use about 700 life preservers to get it to float.

Funny thing about this years fishin' tho. I didn't even get a bite. Ah well, better luck next year.

captron - I'll be waiting for your posts. Ya can't say I didn't warn you.

:-)
