Here is the upcoming seminar schedule for Sportsmen's Warehouse.

All The seminars are located in the fishing department on the green carpet, where all the fish houses were this winter.

The seminars start at 6:30 pm and will end at 8:30 or a little later depending on turn out and open forum at the end.

I have to work every wednesday this summer, so I will be around every night. I was thinking after each seminar, we can swing up to Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Dave's, Bostons, TGIF, Apple bees or somewhere for a couple of drinks and some food. Would that interest any of you?

April 25th-Trent Kolden, Preparing for opener.

April 28th-Gary Roach, "Mr. Walleye"

April 29th-30 Walleye Weekend, we will be having vendor reps, seminars running all day every day from using your GPS, proper clothing to targeting walleyes in specifics. We will also have a kids casting contest, raffles and a fish fry. This event starts at 9 am and runs until 9 pm saturday and 10 am to 6 pm sunday.

May 2nd-Trent Kolden-Spring Walleyes.

May 11th-Ted Takasaki- Covering General Patterns for opener walleyes.

May 13th-Tom Yurek- Spring time crappies.

May 18th-Chris Wallace- Great Lakes Salmon Fishing, covering general set ups from rods, reels, line, dipsys, boards, spoons, dodgers, flies and understanding summer transition areas on Lake Michigan.

May 25th-Brian Godwin- Bass in the slop.

June 8th-Mike Renstrom- Early Season Muskies.

June 15th-Kelly Gustafson- Topwater Bass.

June 24th-Edd Twigg- Pike on the fly.

July 13th-Brian Godwin- Bass on soft plastics.

July 27th-Chris Wallace- Late summer walleye patterns and tactics.
Dealing mostly with Cranking, both on leadcore, three ways and planer boards. I will also be going in depth on three waying spinners and tips to make your three way set up a little bit different then the rest. I also will talk a lot about Mille lacs on this seminar as well, but the general tips and tactics can be applied on pretty much any lake and have just as good of results.

We are looking to add more seminars based on angler demand, so if there is something you would like to have, post it here, and I can relay that to the store.

I will be bringing in my Midwest Rods, Dogboat Tackle Spinners and terminal tackle. If your looking to check out these products before you buy them, swing and take a look at them!

Is the location in Coon Rapids? It's the only one of know of, and if it's the only location, I guess that would explain it.

Thanks Chris Wallace and Clinic for the posts. Welcome back to the site. It would be fun to see Roach's seminar. I have a lot questions for him about night Walleyes on dark water lakes. Again thanks for the great information.

Tony Roach will also be there for Walleye Weekend talking about live bait rigs as well. I got to meet Tony at the sport show through Adam Johnson, great guy.

I'd love to get down there to see Gary.It has been some time since I took him to school on walleyes!!!
Just kidding,I do know he has a wealth of knowledge that is very helpfull.I like his signature series lightning rod. The medium light 5"8" rod is light for those all day excursions and it has a great back bone for control and a fast tip that is designed for jigging and rigging. Best $50 I 've ever spent on a rod.

Crappie have you seen his new line of rods? For 80 bucks they are really nice looking, if you liked the lightning rods, you will like the roach walleye series.
