All last week I got harped on by the kids to start a kids forum. So I stuck one up thinking that at least I would get some activity on it.

Well it's been up now for 3 days and nothing. So what happened? Did they just disappear? Was I duped into putting it up just to see if I would?

Anyway, I'll leave it up for a week or so. But if I don't get any activity on it, I am going to shut it down...

Hey kids! What happened to ya?

Keep in mind, fireball, that if you set up more then one user on a single machine, make sure you click "No" for the "Remember Me" part of the registration. This will force them to log in every time with their username and password. If you do not do this, the site will take the last user that was set up as the default user.

Is this making sense?

Questions, email me.

I also noticed that you hop into the chat room once in a while. I have missed you by a few minutes each time. Sorry, but it's hard to connect in there. You need at least 2 users in there at a time to make it work. I am thinking of taking it down, but it does get used once in a while in the evening hours. Unfortunately, I am usually not surfing in the evening (last thing I want to do when I get home :-).

If we announced a time we will be in there here on the forum, might be able to connect a bit better. Anywayzzzz... just a thought!

Yeah, I noticed this in the chatroom too. I actually have seen some posts in there, but by the time I get there, they are gone. Maybe we should set up a time and date and give the thing a workout!

Hey hard ice,

Tonite would not be good for me, in fact nights in general are not good for me right now. I took a temp job in St. Paul and I am living in a motel that the company is paying for. This is one of the reasons why it has been so difficult to get out this winter so far. I really am not sure how long I am going to be here. I might end up having to move here if this keeps up. I have been here for the past month and it sucks with the wife and kids. I have Internet access at the office pretty much all day, but nothing at the motel. They are offering me a permaenant position here that I may take. Better money and a lot smaller commute if we get a house. Gonna miss Gull though. BUT I would still try to get up there on weekends. This is defintely putting a cramp into my fishing. SUCKS because I don't think I would eat a fish out of any of these metro lakes.

Hey Ted

Good luck with the Job, I have to agree with you that I would not eat any fish out of the metro lakes as well. I am 15 minutes from west rush that is my after work lake to fish.
