UPDATE
The Tip of
the Week is gone. The new website has a new education outline which will be
easier to use. Take a peek, you will like it.
I added new
sections on StructureScan and Lowrance HDS which I am updating as I collect
data. I have added to High Tech Mapping
1.
A preview of the
new 2010 LakeMaster shaded relief digital maps for the
HDS.
2.
In the DrDepth
section I have new examples of the bottom hardness feature. This feature works
well to help me catch more fish.

I
will working the Northland display. Any question related to soft or hard water
fishing is welcome.
Fun
Stuff
I
vacationed in Phoenix over Thanksgiving and booked a guide trip with my crappie
guru Curt Rambo on Rossevelt lake. The crappies weren’t biting so we went after
bass. Curt caught this nice one, not measured or weighed so it must be over 6
pounds! If you look a the lake and the sky you see I had great weather. One guy
and gal were using live water dogs and they put on a clinic catching bass and
catfish.
New Product
Review
Devil’s Lake,
ND
Creel Bay and
Pelican Lake
Warren Parsons finished his summer project of mapping Pelican
Lake and Creel Bay Devil’s Lake, ND. Warren is selling them through my website
at http://www.hightechfishing.com/creelbay.html.
This is the North end of Creel Bay. The small circles are
piles of boulders around highline towers that have been added as the water kept
rising.

This is the South end of Creel Bay where I won a PWT
tournament. Sometimes Warren maps where I don’t want him to and if he wasn’t a
friend I wouldn’t post these images or sell his maps for him. But if you know
Warren he listens to a different drummer than the rest of us.
