Scheels Walleye University 2010 March 6 and April 17
Scheels Walleye
University is returning again this year with all new formats. In 2010
Johnnie Candle will again teach as much walleye catching as he possibly can in
an 8 hour day. Walleye University A to Z starts with the 4 building blocks
of walleye fishing; jig fishing, live bait rigging, spinner fishing and
crankbaits. Walleye University When, Where, and How tackles the seasonal
patterns associated with walleye fishing in lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.
On top of this, there will be two all new sections to each WU.
Monster Walleye will
focus on the ins and outs of catching the hogs. Not only will we discuss
the hottest bites in the country to catch a 10 pounder, but tactics and tips
will be shared on how to catch the largest fish in any given system.
Another all new section will be Hot Trends for 2010. In this segment you
will learn all about the latest and greatest gear in the walleye
world.
The last new twist
for 2010 is the guest speakers. At each University, there will be a guest
speaker sharing their expertise. These are listed below with the Scheels
Walleye University schedule. “One thing that was missing in years past was
the local flavor,” states Candle. “This year we can offer some tips for
fishing close to home.”

New Product Review
LakeMaster has new products for Lowrance and Humminbird for
2010.
LakeMaster 2010 map cards now display in the HDS models using
the shaded relief.
The Humminbird map cards don’t have this feature but have
other features like the ability to change colors of different depth areas.
